Things are going pretty well, I must admit. I have a second interview tomorrow with a company I have good feelings about. My parents helped me out with my money situation, so I’m no longer afraid of starving to death. Things are going well with the new lady in my life, and while I am a little concerned about things moving quickly I am trying to remind myself just to enjoy the ride and let things happen as they will. She’s moving here less than two weeks, and while it is exciting it is also a little nerve-wracking. I haven’t been in a relationship that wasn’t long distance in over two years. So the last time I dated an “in town” person was in college!! So it should be interesting, as well as an adjustment of sorts. We also aren’t official yet, but plan on making it so once she moves here. It’s hard for me to be in this limbo state, but it does mean I have to learn to trust her and what she says. And that’s a good thing. I’ve had my trust shattered a lot in relationships, so it can be hard for me to do this. But it is necessary for a healthy relationship to work. She’s got a lot of the things going for her that I figured out I need in a relationship, so that makes me feel pretty good about everything.

So overall, I feel a lot better than I did a few months ago. Things aren’t perfect, but they ARE improving. :)

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Saw it last night.

1. Brick and Skipper were doing it.

2. Maggie should have just given in and bought a vibrator.

Don’t know where it is, and what it is, but it looks awesome. Living in a cave….source

This is in Urgup, Cappadoccia, Turkey. Looks awesome indeed, too many stairs, but still awesome :)

I wouldn’t even mind the stairs (except for move-in day)
This is exactly how I imagine the Dragon Rider’s caves in the Dragon Riders of Pern Series. (nerdnerdnerd)

Holy
Crap.

Holy

Crap.

We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.
